Round 1 of the 2016 Aquascaping Championship is open!

Following the success of last year’s competition, J&K Aquatics is staging the UKASC again this year with the generosity of sponsors Dennerle, Tetra, Eheim, Arcadia, Aquadeco, Reeflowers, Ciano and Clear-Seal and the support of UK Aquascaper, Alastair Treymaine.

Round 2, the live scape off, takes place on Saturday 15th October at J&K Aquatics, North Petherton, Somerset. The top ten scapers from Round 1, as decided by the international judging panel, will compete in Round 2. There are some fantastic prizes on offer. The ten finalists will get to keep their creations including the Clear-Seal Edgeline and the third placed scaper will win a Ciano Emotions 80 & £150 cash, plus other sponsor goodies. The second placed scaper will win a Ciano Emotions 120, £200 cash, plus other sponsor goodies and the UK Aquascaping Champion 2016 will win a bespoke Clear-Seal aquarium to the value of £850 & £250 cash, plus other sponsor goodies.

The competition was introduced to support the growth of Aquascaping in the UK and J&K remains committed to doing just this.
