UKASC 2018 Winner Announced!

Congratulations to Ste Rhodes, who has been crowned the winner of this year’s UK Aquascaping Championship with this fantastic scape named Volcanic Embers! Our top three placed entries were: 1st place – Ste Rhodes 2nd place – Piotr Kwiatkowski 3rd place – Dorin Romaniuc Thank you to all our entrants for their hard work & support. Live Scape Off Champion crowned!

Stephen Rhodes won the live scape off on Saturday 15 October to be crowned the UKASC champion 2016. Dan Harris came second and Alexea Tonge & Hayley Sloman were joint third. The live scape off started after scapers had selected their hardscape materials. They scaped throughout the day until the scape off closed at 3.45pm. The UK Aquascaping was decided by a judging panel and public vote. Stephen Rhodes, who was in the live scape off final last year, created a scape called ‘Snake Pass’ to win the contest. Round 1 entrants who have made it through to Round 2, the live scape off, have been announced. The 10 wonderful scapes which have gained a place in the final can be viewed in the gallery below. Round 2, the live scape off is on Saturday 15th October, at J&K Aquatics in North Petherton, Somerset. This day full of aquascaping will include seminars from aquascaping experts and sponsor stands.
